Tuesday 29 was one of the most highly contested matches of the summer - Ladies vs Seniors. After a couple of years in the Ladies’ hands the Seniors managed to take the trophy back with a good win.

Thursday 31 July was the Senior’s Stableford. After a nice start to the day the heavens opened and some of the competitors were unable to finish. The competition was finalised over 13 holes and the results were: Derek Forman 32pts, Keith Ellis 29pts and Colin Brotherton 27pts.

Saturday 2 August was Medal day, sponsored by North Eastern Tyres & Exhausts. The competition format was no different to normal but there were lots of great prizes on offer, as well as a trade in for old golf balls provided by Srixon. In Division 1 Michael Milligan shot 77 (66) to take the top prize, Dominic Crowther took 2^nd with 75 (67) and a great round of 72 (68) from Pete Brown in 3^rd place who is soon to be off. In Division 2 James Smithells won with nett 63, Ian Rankine took 2^nd with 64 and Floyd Greco came 3^rd with 65. Congratulations to all the winners and thanks to our sponsors for making the day so successful.
