competition and scoring

We are anxious to offer a scoring service that is second to none. Our scoring system is flexible enough to score for smaller parties as well as larger corporate golf days. Players who are unfamiliar with a certain format can rest assured that their score will appear on the results sheet by only recording the gross score for each hole and simply letting us calculate the rest.

All we ask is that you discuss the format and structure for your competition with our golf co-ordinator and send us this, along with your completed start sheets, prior to your golf day. Any handicap changes can be amended on the day by notifying the registration desk upon arrival.

The results sheets are prepared on the day of the competition. However it is important that we know exactly how prizes are to be allocated, including extra prizes such as Longest Drive, Nearest the Pin etc., prior to the day.

We suggest that you could devise two or more separate divisions thus creating additional interest for your guests and allowing you to give prizes for each division e.g. guests and employees, men and ladies, age groups or handicap.

Upon completion of scoring you will be presented with a specially prepared results sheet showing clearly the winning places and scores. If you have previously arranged the separate division format then a winner in each category will also be shown.

For members of your party who are unfamiliar with any particular competition we are happy to provide a concise guide to playing and scoring the chosen format.
